Hmmm... it's been a long time since we had one of these threads (at least that I remember). Well, I keep my opinion; FFVII is still at the top of my list (it's lost the throne to Xenogears, I'm afraid :grin: )

i really doubt this thread will be staying open long, but who knows...
in any case, to me they're all equal, but i'll say FF8 since its style is more realistic.

This one should have a poll included!! For me it is FF7!! I liked all of them, except the first 2, they didn't have 'it'. And 8 was nice, but different, and a bit too grey (like the menus).

You know you can always change menu/text box colors in the menu right?

Anyway, yeah, this thread most likely will be closed, but my favorite one is Final Fantasy 6 (known as FF3 in the US) with FF7 close behind.

they all suck equally, ie not at all.
really, i like em all just as much, there is none of them i would want to put in front of the others... maybe ff7, but i could be biased on that decision since thats the one ive had the longest.

I can't decide between FF6 or FF7. They're both awesome games. Then FF2 (US), FFT comes in a close fourth, FF after that. Finally, FF9. FF5 is pretty fun, too.

I know that the worst is definatily FF8 and FFMQ. (IMO)

FFT was good but i found the traslation very confusing wich kind of ruined the story for me.

My favorite Final Fnatasy would be FFIX, I loved the story and characters (mostly Vivi ). But the best FF ever would be FFVII for now
