I love the first 7 seven Ultima games. All great story and gameplay. I also am a fan of the infiniti engine RPG's... like Planescape Torment, Icewind Dale 1 and 2 and Baldur's Gate 1 and 2. I think of all those BG2 is my favorite (but PS: Torment rules too).

I'm also a huge fan of the adventure game genre and I'm sad there haven't been many recently and not many sleighted for the future (especially with Full Throttle 2 not being adventure). The King's Quest, Hero's Quest, and Monkey Island games are all great.

My favorite PC game was giants ... Not so sure anymore cuz no one plays but when it first came out thats all I would play. It was a really cool strategy/roleplaying/action/fps game.

my cousin had problems running it with his ATI Radeon 7200. it must have been some sort of other problem if a voodoo 3 could play GTA3.

Greetings,

My favorite PC games?? It's difficult to choose only one...
But I would say Warcraft II and III, Diablo II, Ultima VIII (and I still haven't played Ultima IX), Prince of Persia (from a long, long time ago) and Doom (the first one... I spent hours playing it when I was 12).

Live long and prosper.

Don't misunderstand me, the game for a single player game is awfully boring (specially when compared to BG or PT) but in MP mode is an incredible experience... mainly for the fact that it recreates greatly the "dungeon master" thingy

I thought NWN single-player was ok... the core story and plot was pretty good, but it lacked all the depth and side stories and side plots that made the other recent D&D games so rich and deep.

Multi-player is definitely fun and as close as a video game could get to pen and paper D&D. 3rd Edition rules can get overwhelming to keep track of and slow with pen and paper and dice so the video game helps in that department... When it comes to D&D though, having something physically there though ruins the whole experience of pen and paper D&D in my opinion, cause I think that it's more about personal imagination and creativity.

NOLF1/2...a real classic....but NOLF2 is a tad taxing on performance. Could still remember the times when Valeron was playing it on his p3
