Action Replay Vs. Game Shark

This is a problem. Since buying a PS2, I've always used GS2.3 which almost always worked fine. But when Gameshark.com has an update on a new code for DMC1 and none for the newer games, I find myself looking for a substitute

. Now, AR (aren't they the same company??!!) is frequently updated but to the extent of my knowledge works only on PAL. I have a modded PAL system and almost all of my games are NTSC, so will it work? Is there a site for new GS code that I'm missing. I can't understand how GS3 is released if no new codes are availabe!

And for the record, I'm a hardcore RPG gamer. But now I'm a medicine student as well so I don't have time for "level-up trips"

I mainly play these games for the story and getting the rest of the story is fair price to pay for losing the challenge if u have limited play time

Ummm, do they work the other way Lord Kane? I already have a GS2 but new codes aren't being released anymore

I tried using codes from the AR2 website (www.codejunkies.com) on .hack and they worked but when I tried that with Dark Cloud 2 and ZOE2, they didn't

No they aren't. I own a shed load of NTSC games too, and the american and Jap cheats on Codejunkies worked fine in all cases.
