X-box Problems..

just FYI. i bought a refurbished one from gamestop. but i was wondering, what all where the problems with the X-box When it first came out? because mine is starting to act up. while i Play indiana jones. sometimes the music is really scratchy(for lack of a better term) it looks like its having problems reading the disc or something. i dunno. just curious.

Xbox had problems?, I never had problems when I had a Xbox, the lens might be dirty get a lens cleaner kit or try cleaning the DVD's

My friend's Xbox will occasionally not be able to read a game disc. It seems to only happen with certain discs though. What usually happens is the game will play for a while and then all of the sudden it'll say the disc can't be read anymore.
That happened with MGS2:Substance, Shenmue 2, and a couple of other games IIRC.
The majority of games work perfectly fine in his Xbox though.

Was anyone able to read a burned CD off their X-box? mines being ***.....

A burned game CD, or a music CD. If its a game cd you can't unless you have a mod-chip in your box.

any website you can give me for an example, cuz i never seen a mod chip for x-box so...

Sorry buddy, I would love to help but there are these stinkin rules. I've been told before by the mods that mod chip stuff is not permitted.
