im not sure the translation to ps2 and xbox will be stellar, either. BTW, EBGames has had this game listed for quite some time. no one has picked up on it, though.

Aren't you overreacting just a bit? I mean, yeah, it sucks that the new Fallout is being released only on consoles, but shouldn't we at least wait until the game is released before we start bashing?

Umm, yeah, maybe....but the game is being released relatively soon, and those screen shots and info on it don't give it much credit.

Since you're on that topic, why follow hype so much? Why not wait til a game comes oout before glorifing it so much? See my point?

I'm a Fallout fan, and this, doesn't please me at all from the info I gathered on it so far. The game was great as it was, I cannot see it work the way they plan on a console. Yes, indeed it might be a great game, but will it feel like a Fallout game, that is yet to be seen.

The only that bothers me is that the game is going to be released only on the PS2 and the XBOX... Other than that the game looks like a Fallout game ported to 3D (bad 3D for now

) though I can't imagine playing the game with a gamepad...

Same feelings over here. To me, they used this as a poor excuse to finally port the game to 3D. I'm still waiting for fallout 3......

BTW, sure doesn't look like a fallout game to me, just a poor imitation. Just a simple shooter with runned down gfx and the environment looking like a dump.......still a poor imitation. Guess we can only wait and see the result of it.

Well the good side of this, is that the Fallout saga is still alive. Though we will see for how long, it will al depend on how well the game carries out its duty as a Fallout title... if it does well maybe the Fallout Saga will finally get the recognition that deserves...

In any case I really can't imagine playing a Fallout with a XBOX pad

Consoles are really unfair!
games that are originally for the PC that is transferred to console gets really hauled up, but consoles transferred to PC are only worse.
