Need For Speed HS

I've searched through the NFSHS threads and some mentioned problems with Xp in passing, but none covered my issue. I have replaced the .dll file, and the game runs fine in 3d mode, but i get a HDD error that does not allow me to save my settings. Claims i only have 1mb free. Has anyone solved this? thanks.

n/m i solved it. i guess compatability mode does work for something...
