You could always go out and get the PC version. Better graphics and no loading time.

I second that.

The graphic was pretty bad, not to say the music. I'd really have to recommend you to play the real, PSX version of FF7.

So do I, but I prefer being able to use the Orchestral soundtrack from the Reunion CD in the PC version, by use of Ficedulas patch.

>and the pc version has better graphics thats funny the PSX version is better....

The In game graphics on the PC support the Z-buffer, allowing perspective correction (makes things look much much better), and the textures on the characters are a little better too.
The movies are very grainy. So what you do, is you take the PSX version, rip the movies, and encode them to 16-bit colour DivX movies.

I do agree that the music is better on the PSX... much better in fact, but all I'm saying is that if his emulation of FF7 is slow, the PC version is a good alternative. And the music wasn't that bad, just depended on what sound card you had. Sb Live! Value sounds pretty damn good with their Win9X drivers, but of course, not nearly as good as the PSX. He just may not have the right hardware to play the emulator or something.

I was about to suggest Amazon.com, but they're trying to sell it for 60$. Yes, that's right, 60$ for a game I bought twice 20$ both times (was dumb and sold the first one).

Why is everyone so negative about the pc version of FF7?? I've got that version and it's the best game I've ever played, and yes, I've also played the psx version. And for you complaints:
- The graphics look perfect for a game from that year when you use the Riva patch, which will add support for Riva 128 and TNT1 graphic cards, and this also works with TNT2, which is the card I own. The game look beautifull, except for the FMV's. That's the only drawback I can name.

- The sound sounds good if you use the Yamaha SoftSynthesizer S-YXG70, which plays the midi files with very high quality. This program is included with the game.

End of my opinion.
