Danté or Zero? Who should be in the next "Capcom vs." game?

I just started playing Devil may Cry today, and I started thinking how sweet it would be to have Danté in a "Capcom vs" game. He has the moves (High Time would be his equivalent of the Shoryuken) as well as Super (Devil Time or Sparda armor, etc etc), so why not? But then I thought Zero should be in one too (he is not in any as far as I know): he has the cool sword, panaché, and a stylish ponytail.

But since we can hardly ever have our cake and eat it too, only one gets to go in. So who should it be?

It would be sweet to have Dante in a fighting game. He is so cool and has personality. But i dont like zero, maybe because i dont like the megaman series. Strangely, i dont find him cool and since the bad experience of having megaman in marvel vs. capcom (he had very cheesy movements), i wouldn't like having him too.

Preferabbly Dante because Zero would most likely be to Megaman what Ken is to Ryu. From that point of view Dante would be really refreshing.

added the "Both" field....the more the merrier...both characters could possibly fit in well...Dante moreso..but they did well with MegaMan ..so Zero would be a simple addition

Zero, definitely. He has all the qualifications he needs to be in a crossover fighting game. He's got all the moves, a 3-hit chain combo, a uppercut move, multi-hitting air moves, etc. I don't know why they didn't include him in Marvel vs Capcom or its sequel, he was pretty much made for the part. Instead they put in Megaman of all characters. I just find it so lame to see Megaman pulling off a chain-combo or air-combo.

I don't think he would. Zero fights vastly different from Megaman. Zero uses a sabre, utilizing close-range combo attacks while Megaman relies on his X-buster for long-ranged assaults.

Now who did I vote for....hmmmm.

Lets say, Dante doesn't fit into the vs. games as he's a CG/ 3d model type character. Zero fits it much better. If they "cartoonify" or make dante into a street fighter art style, then hee might fit.

Zero gets my vote.

Wouldn't be that hard. They could just work from the Rugal character and it'd be good

I would say so. Other characters that were CG and ported over to the Animé SF style: Jill Valentine, Hyato, and Kyosuke. All three characters still retained their original feel.

hmm.. it will also be cool if they included the guy in Onimusha (forgot what his name is)
but i guess Dante would be better than zero, a crossover between sword and guns would be mere powerful.

Zero would be OK, as he has the force blade thing, but Megaman was just annoying in Marvel vs Capcom. I'd say that Dante would make a better character for Capcom vs SNK, as that is les of an insane game. A bit more serious than other vs games.

In a certain way yes , he would be a hybrid chracther consisting of Megaman and Strider's moves with a Zero look.
