Ok, here's a recent interview with AM2 (quite short if you ask me) where some topics about the Shenmue saga are discussed.

I got the link from Shenmue Dojo one of the best sites about Shenmue since the days of Shenmue I on the Dreamcast.

Anyway, judging from what they say my vision of seeing the game as multiplatform seems really far away...
The good news are that the saga seems like it's going to be continued... the bad news are that it seems I'll have to get an XBOX...

Woow... hold it everyone, as you have read nothing is confirmed yet... however AM2 seems to be fond of the XBOX hardware... personally I'd have expected to see the game multiplatform but... for now I'm just happy that the saga will continue...

Shenmue3 is a very soild thing to have in your lineup. Despite of the bad sales of Shenmue2, I am pretty much sure that Shenmue3 will do well.

Now it's finally down to Raw2 Vs WrestlemaniaX9.

Ahh, I wish I were in your situation but unfortunately the XBOX is starting to have some of the finest games of Sega... Panzer Dragoon Orta is reason enough for me... but if I add Shenmue as well as some other good titles from other companies (Star Wars Knights of the Old republic, for example) the XBOX starts to sound as something that I have to have...

Well, the only game that would slightly interest me on Xbox is Dead or Alive 3, I'm not interested at all in Panzer Dragoon, just a bit in Shenmue, and honnestly, I've only heard of Star Wars KOTOR 2 or 3 times (and anyway, Star Wars games are bound to be released on every system).

Really ? I thought it was only for the XBOX... anyway, only reason why I'm interested in it is because it's made by the BG (Baldur's Gate) team... if the game is at least half as good as the games on the PC then is a must buy for me...

At this stage, it is an example of enormous stupidity if I buy XBOX just because of the rumoured Shenmue3.

In the end, may be I'll end buying a 5.1 speaker setup for my PS2 alongwith some other cool stuff. (A DVD remote, the network adaptor, VGA box, etc)
