Overrated and underrated games

In your opinions wich are the most over and underrated games? here's my opinions:

snes:

overrated= Super Metroid (Sooooooo boring, but some ppl consider this 'the best game ever'. HA!
Underrated= Lufia (No one ever talk about this great RPG...)

PC:

Overrated= Counter Strike (I hate this game!)
Underrated= Septerra Core (Maybe isn't perfect, but its still good)

Playstation

Overrated= Metal Gear Solid (Most ppl love this game, but HOW??? IT SUX!
Underrated= Star Ocean 2 (Most reviews give a low rating to this game, but its one of the best RPGs for PS)

Playstation 2:

Overrated= Metal Gear Solid 2 (Suckier than the first one)
Underrated= TVDJ (Its quite fun!)

underrated: mafia, pro evolution soccer/winning eleven series, avp2, silent hill 2, ghost recon, battlefield 1942

No, I am... but the new ones are disgraceful. FF7 was pretty good, but it's way overrated, so I threw it in there for good measure.

The shenmue games were massivly underrated I thought. Great games which not many people played or had a chance to.

Console

Underrated: Nectaris series (aka Military Madness) BEST strategy game EVER in the world and history!

Overrated: Anything that everyone else like that I ended up disliking.

PC

underrated: Counterstrike (2 years ago)
overrated: Counterstrike (today)

How's Septerra Core btw?

Over-rated: All final Fantasy games following FF7, MGS2 ( and almost every single GBA game j/k

)

Under-rated: Xenogears ( some people still didnt hear about it, i myself knew it from 3 months ago), Project I.G.I ( reminds me of MGS) , and Sin and Punchiment ( very nice shooting game)

Glad 2 see that a lot of ppl agree that Lufia 2 Rise of the sinistrals is underrated!! It's a very good RPG, in fact, it was my first! After that came FF7.
Overrated, hmm I don't know, I don't play the newest pc games, because my pc is too slow, and I don't own a new console.

overrated: The Sims, Jet Grind Radio
underrated: Space Station Silicon Valley, Conker's BFD

Everyone I ever knew to play The Sims got tired of it quickly. When I introduced people to SSSV and CBFD, they had never heard of them, but ended up liking them alot. And Jet Grind Radio, while I certainly enjoy the graphics, style, and presentation, the gameplay was a little too repetitive for my liking. Not highly overrated, but it has gotten more attention that it deserves imo.

Underrated: Jet Set Radio, Rez, Pop 'n Music

Gamecube:

Overrated: None
Underrated: Cubivore

heh...so many underrated and overrated games...we agree about Lufia 2....amazing game for it's time...we would love to see a sequel.. (we think one is in the cards..)

Septerra Core...interesting...we picked it up for $5...will give it a whirl..

Overrated - Shenmue, DOA3, er...we know there is more but not coming to mind right now

Underrated - Lufia 2 SNES, Magic of Shezserade (whatever) NES, Dragon Warrior 7 PSX, ICO (PS2), er...damn brain...
