Yojimbo - FFX

Hello everybody

I found something intresting about Yojimbo attact Zanmato(really really really strong). If you pay him 666 gils you will have a real high rate of the atack. The rate was higer then 50%. But I have the feeling it doesn't really work against bosses.

Yojimbo's attack depends on his motivation, which is internally calculated by the game, according to your action, how you treat Yojimbo, how much did you pay him, or did he fell in combat, etc. The calculation is actually a little bit complex, and can be found in http://www.gamefaqs.com . But in order to get Zanmato, here's a few hints:
1. Never let Yojimbo killed in combat
2. Never dismiss Yojimbo without acquiring his services, at least once.
3. Of course, never summon Yojimbo, and then pay him 0 Gil.
4. Recommended that you pay above 1000 Gil for his service.
If you're lucky enough, you'll get Zanmato. The time will eventually come.

One more thing, I did heard that Zanmato rate of success is 100%. That also include the bosses.

Get Yuna or him on overdrive, and pay 9999. ALWAYS works for me.

(Although don't use this to kill dark aeons or any of the mega strong bosses, it's very, very, very lame.)

That's right. If Yojimbo's and Yuna's overdrive gauge is full, it will also boost his motivation, thus getting Zanmato is easier. Of course, you could pay him lotsa Gil.
