Help FF7 PC crashes?

Any one could help me to solve the problems I had in FF7 PC version.

It hangs after talking to bugenhagen at cosmo canyon and at the gandola at gold saucer area when cloud and Aires together..

Eidos Inreactive put a solution about cosmo canyon crash, but it didnt work for me!!

Any one can help me.. please.

Well, try to post up your saved game, and see if someone is willing to lend you a hand on bypassing that scene.

I have ff7 pc and have never had that problem, I never have used any patches for it too.

Will, some people have this problem.. just go to Eidos website and see it yourself.. They give some general Ideas, to solve the problem, but it didn't work, and all the Save files on the net, got the party FULL LEVELS 99 and Full HP.. I dont like that..

Do what Evil Squall suggested, post the save and allow someone to pass that part, so you will be able to continue with the game... BTW which OS are you using ?

i personally wouldnt bother with the pc version the psx version looks 3x times better then the pc game!!

Only when you use the software renderer! I downloaded the Riva Patch. This only works for Riva128 and TNT1 cards. At least it's what has been told me on the website. But I use it with my Viper V770 (TNT2) and the graphics are looking better than the psx. Only the FMV's look worse. They suck on the pc.

Erm if your running windows XP its a known crash issue. I dunno if they are fixed it. Eidos seemed uninterested in fixing it.

I was wondering the same thing... that's why I asked which OS was he using... the XP issue... well I don't think it'll be fixed... not by Eidos at least...
