I bought Evolution 2, not because I heard it was good or anything,just because I needed an RPG to play...well I started to play it , and a little ways into the game I started to really have fun with it. Does anyone else like it or am I the only one?

First I've heard of it... Is it related to the Enix game E.V.O or is this something us old men just wouldn't know about?

No, it's made by Ubi Soft, it's going to be remade for the Gamecube as Evolution Worlds.

Evolution 1 it was the worst rpg in the dreamcast

the sequel has the same problems that the first game, in the version for the gc, both games appear, but I don't recommend this game :o ( I played both games in my DC )

The only rpg in the Gamecube that is worthwhile is Skies of Arcadia :eyes: and in a distant future, FFcc

I haven't played Evolution Worlds, or the Dreamcast versions, so I refrain from comment abot them.

psyke, I will comment on your second statement though. Lost Kingdoms is already out, and is a pretty good game if not a traditional RPG. Also, Phantasy Star Online has only gotten good reviews, but I haven't played it yet.

Tales of Phantasia GCN comes out next year, as well as Namco's second GameCube RPG that presently only has a Japanese title, and hopefully we will see Pokemon GCN from Genius Sonority, and of course... Parasite Eve: Rebirth.

We will see a lot more at E3 2003 I think.

Yeah, like I said, I wasn't going to dispute that. I haven't played the game myself, and from what I hear I am not missing out on too much.

It was when you said that GCN only had Skies of Arcadia and FF: CC coming out for it in the future that I decided to dispute that. I listed some other high profile RPGs, but there are still a lot that are yet to be announced. We will see at E3, but Nintendo has been trying to strengthen its RPG lineup as much as possible.

Just wanted to say that I am not the only one that thinks that Lost Kingdoms is a pretty cool game. Penny Arcade is doing the top 12 games of 2002 right now.

I have to agree so far, only I haven't played much of Hedgemonia. Sounds like I really should.
