I have Cable. It costs me about $30 a month, but that's Canadian dollars. It's $20 USD or thereabouts.
I just finished the demo. The graphics are quite nice, but the animations leave a little to be desired. The physics in the game are quite good however. There are blinds that move like they should when you brush up against them, and the audio is also excellent. Anyways, the demo isn't all that long, and it's not very good. The storyline seems to be smack dab in the middle of a mission, with no backstory given. You are just told that you need to rescue one of your buddies. There is also no tutorial or any instruction given on what the different keys or items that you carry do. It took me a good 15 minutes to figure out how to use everything. However, the demo does give a pretty good idea of what the game is going to be like. It plays a lot like Metal Gear Solid, but with some interesting differences. The story seems to be deeply real-world rooted (ala Soldier of Fortune), which I am not too crazy about, but I think that the game holds some real promise regardless. I am definately going to be watching for when this game hits GameCube. |

OK~. How long did the demo take you to finish? Is it worth the 10 hour download on my 56k??
This game's coming out on gamecube??

Yes. Microsoft bought 6 month exclusitivity, but it's still coming out for PS2 and GameCube in March. I would rather wait for the GameCube version than get the PC version myself.
The demo takes about 10 minutes to finish if you know what you are doing. I wouldn't say it was worth a 10 hour download myself, but that's just me. If you are really curious about the game, and don't play the Xbox version, then get it by all means. Hell, I could probably mail you a CDR. ![]() I was going to take a few screenshots, but there's no screenshot key, and I don't have hypersnap installed. I did take one though. Detail is maxed out, and I have Quincunx FSAA enabled. The game still runs fine. It's not a very demanding game IMO. |

If you don't want to wait for a D/L, I'm sure this will be on every demo CD that come with a PC magazine soon. Just finished gettin it, time to give it a whirl.
Edit: /me strokes cable.. only 348K/sec! faster you, faster!!

It runs decently on my mediocre computer (P3 1 Ghz, Radeon 9000 Pro). Ninja is right, it's not a very demanding game and the demo is rather short, I don't know why the demo is so big. It looks to be an interesting game though.

I think i'll wait untill a pc magazine puts it in it's cd's.Btw by saying decently what exactly do you mean??Personally when i'm saying that a game runs decently i mean that it runs all the time with at least 50fps.Damn even GTA3 & Rallisport Challenge aren't running decently with my pc,damn that GF3Ti200
.Can't wait to get a GX FX or a Radeon9700Pro......but i'll have to wait untill summer
