SFA3 vism comboes..

Well, I've always loved playing sfa3 at the arcades and now since the advent of kaillera, I'm loving playing it against people online..

Now the situation: I've always played mostly A-ism modes.. Mostly for Karin, zangeif, and gen.. I only use vism for vega.. But lately, i've notice how powerful vism can be on all the characters.. So I did some research and found some cool vism strategies and comboes with Sakura.. Suffice to say, I love playing her now.. Her power and skill in vism mode is excellent.. Now I win all the time with her in sfa3 online.. She's still not my best, but I only use my best against the best..

Anyways, I'd like anyone to post any vism comboes for any character they've found through their playing.. Remember, the comboes have to be able to not let the opponent counter flip out of it.. I've mastered a good one for v-sakura already, but I'd like to learn more.. Also, I've check gamefaqs and shyruken.com..

here is one with v-sakura:

jumping in opponent: Low Vism -> jab shoryuken -> back fierce -> wiff forward spinning kick -> back fierce -> wiff short spinning kick -> back fierce -> wiff short spinning kick -> ect, ect.. Then when close to wall, back fierce -> wiff fierce fireball -> back fierce -> wiff fierce fireball -> ect.. ect.. when vism bar almost gone, back fierce or back roundhouse -> jumping hammer(3 hits)

Total hits: 14 - 17

This vism combo is great because the opponent won't be able to counter flip if done correctly.. It's also a full juggle combo.. The enemy never touches the ground.. Timing is the key.. You can also substitute a taunt at the end of it instead of the hammer..

As I've stated in a previous post my favourite V-ISM combo is with Ken. It's a corner combo and very easy to pull off. Get the enemy in a corner and start a medium variable. Then continuously perform his Tatsumaki Senpuu Kyaku. You can get up to about 50 hits or so and drain around half their life. I haven't tried any other character but I've seen videos of various V-ISM combos before. If I find some other good V-ISM combos I'll post them here.

Well playing with pre-studied moves/combos takes the fun out of it IMO. Just start the match and adjust your strategy as you think it's needed.

BTW my fav characther would still be Ryu (I don't master the other characthers moves , and have been using Ryu for about 8 years now , and I'm quite good with him , if I say so myself)

Well.. I'm resurrecting this thread a little.. It's not that old though..

I've been messin around with vism some more.. and found out about his infinte combo with v-ism Ryu 1p.. It's quite a tricky combo, but damn it's hits forever.. The first infinite I've seen in this game..:

opponent standing close: jab+short -> hop kick + hurricane kick in one.. You have to do it so the hop kick looks like a very short hurricane kick.. -> jump diagonally -> medium punch(his 2 hit juggle) -> press down(crouch cancel) -> jump Diag -> mp -> press down -> ect..ect.. then, when close to wall: jump diag -> mp -> quickly press down -> jump diag -> mp -> press down -> jump diag -> mp.. ect..ect.. The timing is really hard when you start doin the crouch cancels.. You have to press down right as you land.. Then press up instantly after you land and juggle.. You can keep juggling even after vism mode is over..

I've been able to get up to 70+ hits with Ryu using this.. It's quite tricky though.. Good luck to anyone who tries to do it..

If any of you have kawaks 1.45, use this recorded input file to watch the v-ism Ryu infinite.. I got up to 85 hits.. Then lost the timing a little.. Just place this file into the Reinput folder of kawaks.. Then run sfa3 (409) and play recorded input 9..
