I need a save for Final Fantasy 8

Anyone can give me a save on the begining of disk 2?

edit: Tried Gamefaqs already. No luck!

i hear u. i need it too n ive posted a thread like this up before, but it seems that nobody has that saved state. can u elaborate on y u need it? i need it cuz i dont have disc 1

I think i might help. I have a savestate at the very end of disc1. but first, i promised someone on this board with a PE II savestate. I ll post the file tommorow on this thread..

Actually, I AM playing the pc version. So, its even better. And (F)ragnarok(F) can use psxmemtool ((http://psxmemtool.ngemu.com/index.html) to convert the pc save to psx save, so it'll be like killing 2 birds with one... err... something (I forgot what)!

Well, I don't have the game installed at the moment, and I don't really intend to install it, and my save files aren't exactly organized....

But here's the current memory cards that I have in the game. I am sure there is something there worthwhile. If you can't find one that works, let me know and I will upload my other two directories of FF8 saves. (Yes, I am quite probably obsessive complusive.

)

Urm, I hope I can help, but my PC save file is at Disc 2 D-District Prison.
If you want it, I would gladly send it to you.

I do have some other save file, like Disc 1 President Residence (Almost there to Disc 2).

BTW, I HAVE to ask 2 things:
1. Kingstar, how could u finish the first cd in 7 hours and 33 minutes????? My record was 11 hours!
2. Ninja, why do you have 40 saves??? Are u saving every 30 minutes???

I finished it too soon because i didnt go for any side quests what so ever and used a walkthrough to finsih it quick. and oh, BTW : the party levels are a bit low, I recommend you start training them, for i was a bit lazy and i didnt do that yet

PS: (F)ragnarok(F) , sorry, i must have missed your thread before, but anyways, why complain? you have the save file already!

Actually, its better this way. Last time I finished FF8 I was at level 30 (50 for Squall). Leveling up in FF8 isn't important. It'll just make the enemies harder (remember: the enemies will level up too)

First download the program...

lol. I ummm... well... I am quite probably obsessive compulsive, and when playing pretty much any game, you can be assured that I will have at least 4 or 5 saves by the end. If I am playing a PC game, I usually have like 50 saves at the end of the game, as I can easily store that much.

Did you find a helpful one anywhere in there btw?

Ragnarok, you were asking for a PERFECT save file IIRC, in which case it would have been a problem for me as I commonly miss some stuff, as I don't use walkthroughs. I think I have all the cards on the first disc, but I am not sure if that's the save file that I did that on.

:embl: yeah, i was kinda asking for too much but i followed the walkthrough on that on. but i still gotta get out of the habit of reading the walkthroughs when playing rpgs

well, glad to know that it worked for you. I dont use walkthroughs unless I am replaying the game. Just to play some side quests and have fun

PS: Ninja, my saving habits doesnt differ that much from you. Except that i use 10 saves files on PC games only....
