Famitsu History
There have been 4 games in total which have recieved perfect scores according to Famitsu. Famitsu is a Japanese gaming magazine which is known for giving very tough reviews, but not altogether unfair. For a game to score a perfect 40/40 points, you can be assured it is something special.
Anyways, here are the 4 games that made history. 1) Vagrant Story (Playstation) 2) Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64) 3) Soul Calibur (Dreamcast) 4) Legend of Zelda: Kaze no Takuto (GC) For those of you think is game is kiddie and it sucks, bite your tongues. This game rocks. For those of you without a GameCube, consider buying one. For those of you with a GameCube and considering not getting this game, well, you must be in an insane asylum or in a special needs school. Last edited by Ninja; December 11th, 2002 at 06:02. |

Hmm... I remember Tokimemo: Forever with You getting such a "score" as well, but they didn't have those points ranking back in 1995.

>Ninja no one is attacking Zelda
Aprt from me, but I just hate Zeldas anyway. I don't like Tomb Raider either, as that's what it reminded me of when I played the 2 N64 ones.

I agree, but I really feel that the 2 Zeldas are out of place in a line up with Soul Calibur and VS. Where is Xenogears anyway? Not to mention a string of 101 games which far surpass Zelda in almost every aspect, even when it fist cam out.

Lord Kane, I am not going to dispute that Xenogears was a good game, but it was UNFINISHED! You can't give an unfinished game a 40/40 IMO.
And Lord Kane, if you ask me, Vagrant Story and Soul Calibur are the ones that look strange in that lineup. They are good, but not ZELDA good.

All opinion.
And here's mine: Zelda is NOTHING like tomb raider! There's a crucial element known as fun! ... okay weak argument, I'm just a zelda freak. We're all entitled to our opinions. I hope you'll at least give the new Zelda a try with an open mind Kane.

Kane, there is absolutely NO WAY IN HELL that Tomb Raider can even REMOTELY compete with Zelda. Tomb Raider = sticking pins behind your fingernails Zelda = Pure fun. |

I simply feel that Zelda is duller than a weekend with the Hamiltons. Soul Calibur is arguably the greatest fighter out there....Well it's the only one I'm still playing.
VS is a superb action RPG Yes you are right: Zelda is nothing like Tomb Raider. It's missing the hot female lead

actually, sticking pins behind your fingernails is mad fun! (right up there with setting your sock on fire
).The only thing that zelda shares with tomb raider is third person persepctive. But that's like saying tomb raider is just like Black & White or GTA.

I hate Zelda, as do all of my housemate, from many walks of life. I got it free with my N64. Fighters Destiny and Body Harvest see more action. The cartridge probably doesn't work for dust.

Look, ENOUGH already! We have had enough squabbles with out starting more. YOU like Zelda (which is fine) Ninja and Kane does not like Zelda (which is also fine). You are both right and neither is wrong. Let's just leave it at that, shall we? PLEASE????
sincerely, sx/amiga |

sheesh 4 ops in a row. Seriously though Kane, I hope you do try Zelda GC with an open mind, although if you didn't like the other ones, you probably won't like the new one.
>Anyway, from what I read Ninja likes Zelda and not the other way around. err? I don't get that statement... hey you put down your picture of Chii Shiori.

Hey, I know everyone has their own opinions about stuff, but there gets to be a point that it's ludicrous.
It's like if I walked into an art gallery and saw the Mona Lisa. I would say that it reminds me a lot of a picture that some dude drew back in Grade 4 art class, and the picture isn't really worth much. To me it just seems that Lord Kane doesn't have a clue what he's talking about, even when staring a perfect Famitsu review in the face. (2 of them, nonetheless) |
