Gaming achievements
I don't know if this is the right place to post this. (if not move it to where it should as you please , if you find this thread not to be appopriate for the site you may remove it whenever you desire) I want to know your latest gaming achievements , on a emu or console. You can also post a little score in what you think of , difficulty , GFX , Sound , Gameplay , Lastability and ofcourse an Overall score. We can also then the tactics/moves or whatever it took to do it. I'll start : Starfox Adventures - NGC I just finished my first playthrough of the game with 100% in 20h13min12sec. I must admit I was suprised with the final boss (Let's keep it spoiler free if possible right , in case others haven't beaten/achieved it). All in all SFA was a decent game , but way to easy IMO. It's just a basic setup everytime but none the less a good game. Difficulty Rating : 6/10 GFX : 9/10 Sound : 9/10 Gameplay : 8/10 Lastability : 6/10 Overall : 7,6 Requirements to complete within the above time : Common wits , that's all , it can be done way faster in about 14-15 hours if you know exactly what to do.

I just finished JFG (once again) using PJ64 this time that is. I only had to defeat Mizar (again) But I achieved a new personal record : 26hr39min37sec Formerly 29hr21min25sec but I'm not sure if I found every weapon upgrade , does anyone know till how much every weapon can be upgraded ? If I don't have all my achievement will be edited later , I still have about 2hr45min left before I get to my old record so time won't be a problem. Jet Force Gemini - N64 (Played on PJ64) Well after finishing it on my n64 about a month or two ago I decided to give it another try on Pj64. And I must admit PJ64 does a very nice job emulating JFG. Sometimes some slowdown but that can be neglected. I'm really gonna mis this game , because a sequel will never come due to bad sales.Below are the scores I have given to JFG Difficulty Rating : 8/10 GFX : 8/10 Sound : 9/10 Gameplay : 8/10 Lastability : 8/10 Overall : 8,2 Requirements to complete within the above time : You have to have played the game at least once before you can finish in that time limit. You have to keep on moving and try to get everything done right the first time (which isn't that easy ).As for the Floyd medals , what can I say but practice makes perfect.I guess if you know absolutely everything and make no mistakes what so ever and play it one time through (Start and not stop until your finished) it can be done in about 22 or 23 hours. But as I stated I'm not sure if I have every upgrade , same goes for my original record on my N64.

I got to like level 46 in Duck Hunt when I was a kid. I got incredibly bored though, and turned off the Nintendo. It's still my greatest accomplishment though. I also finished SMB 1 and 3 and SMW with one life. |

My biggest achievement was when I finally beat my first game, Dynowarz for the NES. I even got my Mom to come and see this. I wonder why as time passes, games get easier (or do I get better as a player?). Oh, and playing Wipeout XL and beating the Piranha challenge with Feisar without having to redo any tracks.

I remember that when I rented my first (and last) 30-in-1 cart I was so dissappointed. I remember that beating SMW wasn't such a big deal. Heh, and beating Street Fighter 2 @ 4 stars is always great when you're a neophyte. |

Heh. I never turned off my NES for like a week. I didn't want the special mode to go away.I was also quite proud of myself for finishing Super Mario World in 3 days. It was my first SNES game, and I wasn't used to the controller even.

On the contrary, I hated SMW's special mode with those gross colors. I really enjoyed the special road (or however you call it), but I hated the after effects. I wonder if there's a way to turn it off...

My greatest gaming achievement was beating the original Pac Man on the Atari 2600. By beating it I mean that I went from all zeros (starting score) to all zeros again (rolling over the score) and I was still playing. That game never ends. I figured out a pattern to where I never had less than 8 Pac Men (1 beinging played and 7 in reserve). The most you can have is 9 Pacmen (8 in reserve). There were no cheats for this game (and probably still aren't) so I did it "honestly". It took me 4 hours to go to all zeros again and shortly there after I turned it off. The reason, playing that long and staring at the screen had given me a MASSIVE headache that lasted for the rest of the day. sincerely, sx/amiga |

MMM... Lesse now... I think spending 640 hours playing Xenogears was my biggest achievement. BTW Ninja, I got to level 55 in Duck Hunt!

My biggest achievement was when I hacked my first game and got that first line of text translated... that was so beautiful... except the line of text... the font was horrid and was missing a period... and sense... definately missing sense If you mean try game achievement... I guess the fact that I remember what item is in every treasure chest in FF6 (wob and wor) just be seeing it's location.

I could get most on chrono trigger but I can't guarantee them all (mainly the vests in those containers... most of those I just ignored as they were in effect useless to me)

The only thing I keep track of are my NBA Jam (SNES) accomplishments. I never use the cheap "push while dunking trick" (you can push players who are dunking by pushing the area near the basket, even though they're in the air and your player is seemingly pushing only air). My best on the hardest difficulty is 258-21 in Normal length quarters.

I beat the computer 146-7 in NFL2K with 5 minute quarters. Man, that was fun. they only got a touchdown due to a bug in the game. Another accomplishment of mine is getting through an entire 90 or so game season in NHL 2000 on pc without losing a game on hard. There was lots of shouting and bashing involved with that one.
