I am not far in GT2, but I have played quite a lot of GT1. It seems to me that in GT2 Special Events, the races are only restricted by hp and license. For example I can enter the Station Wagon Club races with a Beat, or anything else in my garage. But you can't do that in GT1 right? Is this strange to anyone? Or is it just me

...yep, you're right, takwu. The restrictions in GT2 apply only for the total HP, licence, and weather the car is classified as RR,FR,MR, or FF and also weather the engine is a Turbo or Naturally Aspirated. ...as a sidenote: To find if your car has the correct HP to enter a race, always check it from your garage screen. This is because the HP number is displayed wrongly in the "salon" screen (that is -before- you buy the car), and also in the pre-race "modifications" screen (where it looks about 6 HP bigger)... |

ok cool, I will go race the station wagons then, yippie! (ok but not with the Beat )about your hp thing... I know they're different, but I don't think it's always bigger or smaller. It differs for each car. Sometimes you can buy a car and feel ripped off because the hp is lower than advertised.

...yes, before you buy a car, the HP may be diffirent and may actually be bigger -or- smaller. But when you are in the pre-race "modifications" screen, the HP appears always a few HP bigger (about 6 or so)
