Well, I've played MOHAA so far, and I really think these kind of games should be limited to PCs only as it'd suck without mouse controls.

actually I think the ps2 version would be more designed to fit that controller.

I like frontline more because when you get shot the camera doesnt get all jerky and displaced like in AA. Also, the teamwork is more realistic. Theres no multiplayer on the ps2 version, though.

The sound is remarkably good in both, and i like the visuals on PS2 better because they are more realistic and grimey.

But IMO FPSs aren't good on consoles, no matter how good the controls are set up. Well, unless you have a mouse and a keyboard for your PS2.

I have it and I havent got pass the first mission because of the controlls. The controlls are very well done but only if you can look around using the d-pad as well. Im not going to get used to the analog stick no matter how much I use it.
If you're used to using the analog stick to look around (try it out in MGS2) then go for it. If not I'd stay away from it.

The sound is good in both games, but the graphics isnt really good in either of them. I'd say the PS2's has better graphic effects in this department but that's it.

FPS on a PS2?
/me shudders.
PC-PS2 ports generaly have lower quality textures, and longer load times (case in point: Max Payne). Add to that the control method, and you've got a surefire case for purchasing the P one over the PS2 version.

I haven't played Frontline yet. I should mention though, that there is a multiplayer feature in the GameCube version that is apparantly missing from the PS2 version. I really do mean to play the game at some point, but right now I have lots of games to play.
