hey guys i posted this thread to hear your ideas about this game,
I dont get it why did extended play gave it a high review score, but i dont see anything special about this game, it is pretty lame and it lacks a plot of good RPG, well maybe the graphics are good but take out the graphics and you got nothing, the battle is also not that fun when you strike an enemy he doesnt react when you are at a low level, and the biggest monster is easier to kill than the ordinary village people,the construction set is also very hard to understand. but this is only my opinion, and i want to hear your opinions, if it is just me or this game really sucks.

I actually find this game a lot of fun. The graphics are great and I like the non-linear aspect of the game play. I would say that others find this game enjoyable also since there is now an expansion module out for it.

It's less liniear than an MMORPG, which means it felt there was no story, no plot to immerse myself in.

ive wanted to play that game for a looooong time and now ive given up hope (my brother got rid of his x-box and im to lazy to go buy a game that i havent had the chance to try)so i guess i stuck playing redguard and daggerfall.

even it feels like you belong to the game the gameplay is really lame, and it feels that there is no plot at all.
tetris might be more enjoyable.

the other fun in this game, is entering cheats on your menu and slaying any organic material you encounter.

I said this on other thread, but I will repeat it here.
1. Graphics are awesome
Good things about this game end here
2. Game authors obsessed with graphics
3. Gameplay: You walk/run damn annoyingly slow. Underwater control is horrible (I drowned three times ). Battles are completely boring- You click, your character swings his weapon, a pathetic noise is heard, indicating that you have hit the enemy, who doesn't even seem to feel your attacks; repeat until the bastard dies. You don't jump; you let yourself fall. The objective of the game is to roam around and admire the incredible scenery, or so it seems. The menus are the most horrible I have ever seen: there are four windows: the inventory (aka awful series of tiny drawings of objects done by a five year old), the map (this one's acceptable), the magic/powers window (you click on your desired magic to select it, then right click during the game to use it), and the character sheet (I'd say character shyt).
4. Sound is horrid. No sound resembles the action it is caused by. And music is simply out of place, i.e. when inside a scary dungeon and the typical 'tavern theme' is heard.
5. Plot/story: there isn't. You are an adventurer and, as such, you...er... go adventuring. NPC's are... uncharismatic, or boring, as you prefer to say.

I know it is what I always say, but it feels like a beta version of something really good. A game made by unimaginative people, this is what it is...

even an innocent girl villager is harder to kill than a 10 feet, 3 headed, ferocious monster that doesnt reacts to your attack then gets killed after hearing 100 slash sounds.

I found this game to be fun for a while. A pretty long while actually, but I never went on the main quest. I just ran around leveling up and by the time I decided I wanted to maybe pursue the quest I was so powerful that the game was no longer a challenge. I could walk into a building full of fighters/gaurds and kill everyone with one hit without taking any damage myself.

So if anyone decides to play it I would recomend going on the main quest when your character is around level 10

What graphics? I can't seem to even think it's remotely good with low poly counts and no way to make things look less blocky than it is(Doom 3 uses bumpmaps,Half-Life uses staragicly placed points)The textures and graphics suck even at FSAA 4Xs+Anistropic 4X,There is not even an indicator of how strong your spell really is(A firedamage=1-1 Range+50Ft looks more powerful than a Firedamage=100-100 range+5Ft)
