Good picks. Thanks a lot. If gives a lot of insight into what we are all hoping will be available in the US and Canada....

And some insight into what the Resident Evil remakes will look like as well.

uggg. that's just wrong. Why would anyone subject themselves to playing Zelda with a PSX controller?

Melhisedek, my apologies. I am not used to giving Europe much thought. Wrong of me, I know.

I played through both N64 Zelda games on the emulator using a Gravis GamePad Pro (which is basically a PSX controller) as well as on the N64 using the N64 controller. I actually didn't find using the Gravis particularly hard at all... I personally love the PSX-style controllers (probably cause it's basically a revamped SNES controller, which is a revamped NES controller... so really I've been using that style controller for 15 years!) and never got used to the N64 controller.

I always found the PSX controller to be too small, and too oddly shaped to really be all that good. I have a great deal of difficulty with the 4 shoulder buttons too. Plus, I never found a replacement for the C buttons on the PSX pad, let alone the Z button. I usually ended up assigning the R2 button to be the Z button, (ala GameCube), but I couldn't ever think of a reasonable substitute for the C buttons. If you ask me, you need a N64 controller to play N64 games. Besides, the PSX analog stick just doesn't feel right. It needs grooves.

I had to get creative in my button-mapping, but I grew quite accustomed to it. A, B, R1 and start I kept the same... I remapped the Z button to Triangle, C-left to L2, C-up to select, C-down to Square and C-right to R2

That's the cunning bit
Analog stick = Left Analog
L = L3 (Mainly coz it was never used)
Digital pad ==
C pad = Face buttons
A/B = L2/R2
R = R1
Worked really well for me.

from what i could see, those pictures are no imprivement from its n64 incarnations. Its still very "blocky" (their hands, arms, feet, and/or whatever are boxlike)

hopefully, we see maro sunshine, or resident evil kind of graphics... maybe then... i would start to think of getting this game.
