Wierd thing I found on the Lunar 2 Cd

Errm I was going through the xa audio files on the Lunar 2 CD. (well disc 2 to be exact) . Listening to some of the audio files (hey I was bored) and I umm stumbled into this.

Heh can thank working designs for having a sadistic sense of humor I guess.

http://flamevault.com/~chrisray/doh.mp3 (btw file size is 600 KB)

Btw ignore the second part of it.

Yeah.. The first part is quite funny.. But the out takes can also be listened to on the old sega cd versions of Lunar 2 and Lunar 1.. In the Sega Cd versions after you watch all the credits, just listen for a while.. The out takes will play..

Really? I used to play Lunar 2 and Lunar 1 extensively. But I never saw those. You sure they're on Lunar 1? as they used actually CD audio for most of the games voice overs...

The out takes in Lunar2 were only those audio that you have up there.. You have to wait after the ending credits for a few minutes.. Then the audio out takes starts playing.. As for LUnar 1.. There is only one small out take at the end.. YOu have to wait for that as well... Try the ending music track in Lunar 1 but keep listening after it has finished.. Should be there..

mmm... though I know everything about that game I've never heard the out takes in Lunar 1... wich version do you have ? working design edited version (the one who has Lunar carved on the cover of the manual) or the Sega one ? (plain and simple manual...)

yeah, those are the working designs versions... there are 6 or 7 (I never remember the exact number) cds, wich go from the most common picture to one that is almost impossible to get (or so I've heard)...

I have a 4th one which I use in my computers and emulators. It's has "CD Recordable" written all over it. 1x-12x And a very poorly written "Lunar Backup CD" all over it too

I normally do that with all my games... making backup copies of my own software should be my god given right :o

Question

Chris Ray, making back ups of software you already legally own is your God Given right. Who has said otherwise? You are legally entitled to make a backup copy of software that you own for your personal use. Copy away and enjoy.
sincerely,
sx/amiga

That's hillarious! Are there other "easter eggs" in other games?

My... at last, I was getting tired of hearing ppl say "the remakes are cool, have you seen the MDECS ?"... so few ppl care about excellent games this days...

As for your question Zukeft there a lot of games who have easter Eggs... even computer games...

How do you figure Eternal Blue Complete is awful compared to Eternal Blue? They are almost "exactly" the same. Aside from maybe a 1 or 2 additional scenes and a new "hiro" voice actor.I thought the new hiro was substantially worse than the old one.

Hell. They even used the old voice over cut scenes from the old game to do this one. Eternal Blue Was such a cheap "redo" it was barely different at all.
