Talking Wild Arms better be good !

Thanks to you guys touting how great it is. I had to go spend 15 bucks on it

I've noticed a crappy trend with me however. The more time I spend on message boards about video games and hardware. the more money I spend on software and PC hardware =\

Wild Arms IS good. Good music, good storyline, and involving quest. The graphics, as Dark Watcher said, are allright but nothing spectacular. ChrisRay, $15 is a good price to pay for it. It is getting rare and hard to find.
Kaiser Sigma, the story line is quite good. It'll keep you guressing and playing and playing and..........
sincerely,

Me too, I couldn't find the first. How is the story of the second? That's the most important IMHO

Well I haven't had a full impression yet. I'm barely past the intro., The game story seems to be starting slow. It hasn't "pulled" me in yet. But for some reason the combat is fun and has kept me interested. The story so far seems to be what you would expect from Sony's First RPG.

Or what you'd expect from the breath of fire series dialogue well.

Considering this game was released before ff7 the graphics in combat are nothing short of amazing., Sure they are cute. But they work and were incredibly 3d for the time.

Hmm interesting. aparently you can start different heros and control them at the same time. Similiar to the active time event in FF9.

After playing quite a bit more (still not far). This game actually reminds me a lot of Lufia 2. Rise of Sinistrels.

The Combat system is similar. There's quite a few puzzles. While the story is "ok" so far. there have been parts where I've gotten stumped. (thank god for gamefaqs.com )

But all in all this game is pretty decent. Worth the purchase so far. unless it gets really bad.,

I rented this game awhile ago, it has a better story ovr the graphics and when *i forgot the main character's name* gets the diif forms, they're cool to use but they get repetitive after awhile

Question

ArchAngel, ummmm, I think you are taiking about Breath of Fire 3. If you are, the main characters default name (you can change it if you want) is Ryu. The different forms he can switch to are Dragons. He looks totally human, but is actually one of the "Brood".
But, this thread was about Wild Arms not BOF 3. That is why I was puzzled as to why you were talking about BOF 3, which, BTW, is an excellent game also.
Quatro and Nameless, Wild Arms 2 is a very good game also. It has different characters and it's story line is different. It is also done in 3d where as only the battles in Wild Arms are in 3d. The reson you can't find it is, as I have said before, because it is an older game and is kept by those who have it and eagerly sought after by those who don't. This is making it rare and hard to find.
Fortunately, I have original copies of both games, in the box w/the manuels.
sincerely,
sx/amiga

No In wild arms the guy gets forms like a red knight and stuff. its a story in wild west kinda setting, and u get to use one of the forms in the last battle when he's in like a robe and he has great spells that do alot of damge. the main character uses a blade/shot kinda gun
