Will there be a game cube emulator do you think?
I know none are listed on this site, im just wondering if any are in existance or being developed. There are a couple of games for the game cube that i would like to check out but i dont really fancy buying another console just for a couple.

I think before anyone tries a GC emulator, they will try to PS2 emulation up and running first. So it may be quite a while before one comes along, if one ever does. As for those of you who say it's to hard do, or it can't be done, remember the same things were said of Sega CD emulation and Sega Saturn emulation just a short while ago. Now look at where Sega CD and Saturn Emulation are today. sincerely, sx/amiga |

Next decade? It’s a fast machine, but my bet is that there will be demo emulators in a year, and playable emulation a year or so after that. The PowerPC is reasonably well documented, and the Gamecube architecture is supposedly more straightforward to deal with than the PS2s. I don’t think a Gamecube emulator is all that far-fetched. Emulating all those registers might be a little slow, though. |

The gamecube just appeared. Is there a Pc powerful enough to run a game like Mario sunshine these days, if it was developed for the pc platform? I don't know if I'm saying it right (my english sucks...)

I dunno about you, but I don't have 150 bucks to be throwing around... I'm a broke-ass college student and I have more important stuff like rent and electricity, and FOOD to worry about.
