annoying FF9 problem

Hi there, the problem i got is really annoying.
FF9 works perfectly and all but if i have searched for the chocobo treasures, i cant get rid of the map taht was shown on the screen for searching it.
I know that i can unequip it, but i don't know how.
I don't want to have such a map always on the screen.

where you choose the Chocographs. just Select Cancel and they will go away
