Thumbs up Grand Theft Auto Vice City

Fifteen days are left till this game is released. So I decided to start the count down here. Most of the ppl here have seen the screenshots and other previews, so no need for'em.

So lets start with a wishlist. What else do you want to see in GTAVC?

For me, well since we'll be able to fly helicopters, it would be cool to have aerial cop chases and just like they have a tank on the ground for us, why not an Apache in the air?

I think Bloodrayne comes out tomorrow... That's going to make me quite happy. Timesplitters 2 is also supposed to come out shortly.

As for GTA VC, it would make me very happy if they allowed you to see the guys who thought making another GTA game would be a good idea on the street. I would enjoy teaching them the error of their ways.

Come to think of it, the guys who thought up Tomb Raider should also be there.

Oh, and you should be able to make every person on the street look like Bill Gates with a minimum of effort.

EDIT: In the event of a Bill Gates mod, there should also be an option to be able to hire big scary looking homosexual men.

I have no problem with another GTA game... although I think Vice City shouldn't be a completely new GAME. It should be for the PC, and released as an expansion, for like 20 bucks or something

Even though I did'nt care too much for GTA, I would like to see high proformance race cars. Like a NFS-GTA hybrid.

An expansion is like continuing a story, but Vice City is a game with a whole new story and location, vehicles, features, etc etc.
I downloaded a couple of VC gameplay preview videos off Kazaa, and I should say that there's not much difference in gameplay other than having bikes and being able to go into some buildings. I hope the story will be great...
Im wishing for a Nissan Skyline. A Magazine confirmed that VC will feature licensed cars including a Nissan, but they didnt mention what model will it be tho.

Im a mad cars fan, remember?
I'll still use the bikes though, they look pretty cool albeit the movements are quite unsmooth and unreal in that preview I saw. In normal life you lean your bike earlier in a corner or turn it real slow, but in VC you can turn it almost 90degree's in the very last moment with a crazy leaning move before the corner.

GTA VC will be awhole new game. I heard that you can even shoot throught the car windows, that is kill a person while he's driving cars. There are also going to be spike strips used by the dops. The tires can also get busted and I heard that the bikes have a ver hilarious crash animation.

Syed, it still uses the same engine as GTA 3, and features very little different. It would make sense to make it as an expansion rather than an entirely new game.

A case example of a company doing good would be Blizzard. When they released Brood War, they didn't do it as a sequel to Starcraft, but as an expansion. However, the expansion is just as long as the main game, has just as much FMV, and simply continues the story laid down in Starcraft.

Now in the case of GTA 3, you get virtually nothing new, other than a few cosmetic differences, a couple of new game features, and identical gameplay.

What we get and what we don't can't yet be decided by just sitting and looking at previews.

What will you call a sequel when there is no definit valid story in the first game. Don't tell me that GTA3 is about stories.

Look at the FIFA series. Their every new version features something that was missing in the last version. Why not the same with GTA? The have improved the things that were missing in GTA3. Aerial cop chases are one of'em.

The engine is heavily modified and improved. The physics is more realistic this time, and all the stunts a person can do with a vehicle is done through real time physics instead of fixed programming.

Of course you can. Imagine the fun of mid air chasing. You better call it Grand Theft Aero
