My first FF was Final Fantasy 1 on the NES. I played it back in 1990 when it first came out. I enjoyed every minute of it and I beat it too. A most enjoyable game and a great start for the rest of the series. It is still my favorite of the FFs, even after all these years.
sincerely, sx/amiga |

I played FF1 but didn't pay much attention to it. I liked Faxanadu better.

Yeah, FF1 was the first FF I played. I beat it too. I liked the game, but didn't LOVE it. And yeah, I loved Faxanadu. Anyway, FFIV is what made me love the FF series.

The first of the FF series that I really took seriously was FF7. To tell you the truth, I haven't beat many of the SS RPGs that I've played(the only ones that I recall are Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger, and Seiken Densetsu 3).
Anyway, half a vote goes to FF7 then.

FF4 was the first Final Fantasy game I played. I'm not sure if it was because it was the first game I played but FF4 made a huge impact on me than any of the others. It's my favorite Final Fantasy and it is the game that has made the rpg genre my favorite too.

I played ff7 first. And I was amazed of the things an rpg could offer. Feelings, comical situations... it was (and is) a very complete game.

I started with FF V on ZSNES when I had my P100. I guess I'm the only one in this category.
