kh- among the leaves of the briar patch

Which disney characters are or have you found in Kingdom Hearts? I have been wondering if they included brer rabbit, brer bear, or brer fox but I doubt any of you know who they are.

Taisen, I certainly do. I loved the Disney movie called Song of the South about Uncle Remus. You do know who he is don't you? I think it would cool if those three were in there, but I doubt they are. From what I've been hearing, only Donald and Goofy are there. It seems even Mickey and Minnie are no where to be found either (they could have at least included THEM and Pluto as well). Now I'm not 100% certain on this, but from what I've read, this is how it would seem to be.
Now, two quotes for you, "I was born and bred in the briar patch!" and "I'm gonna knock his head clean off!" Do you know which two of the three you mentioned said those?
sincerely,
sx/amiga

I believe Uncle Remus is a slave who tells the tales about the animals in the briar patch to the children but I think he ends up being a spirit or not real. I have never seen Song of the South except for some pieces on the 'net and the Disney channel since Disney refuses to put it on tape in America or show it in movie theatres.

The commercial shows more than goofy and donald in the game but if you mean as playable characters I don't know. On eb, it says Disney characters engage in action sequences using movements and behaviors true to their film personas - Peter Pan flies, Tarzan climbs and King Triton swims, among others. so this probably means there is more than goofy and donald to play as.
According to eb there are over 100 disney characters who appear.

My guesses are the first quote was by brer rabbit and the second quote was by brer fox. If the 2nd quote isn't brer fox then it is brer bear.

About the quotes, you are correct on the first one. The first one is said by Brer Rabbit and the second is by Brer Bear, in reference to what he wants to do to Brer Rabbit after he is caught by the Tar Baby.
What you say about Uncle Remus is true, it is supposed that he was a salve in the old South, but whether or not he was actually real is not known. The Uncle Remus tales maybe stories told by the black"Mammys" to their children in order to explain how come things were as they were.
As for why Disney has not rereleased Song of the South in theatres or put it out on VHS or DVD, it is because the African American coummunity of the USA view that movie as racist and demeaning to blacks (Negroes) and have protested against it. So Disney listened to their protests and pulled the movie. Sad isn't it?
This also the reason that the old Amos and Andy TV sitcom from the 1950s isn't show anywhere or anymore.
sincerely,

The only controllable Disney character AFA I know (mind you, I haven't played much) are Donald and Goofy. Whereas the other remaining Disney cast is unlistable. There are so many of'em.

I think it was last shown in the US sometime in the 1980's. It was released in Europe on tape and Japan on laser disc but nothing here. If it were to be released then we would probably be complaining about how it was edited to fit today's tastes. I can't see Disney allowing there to be a smoking frog in any of their animated movies. I see this somewhat as a black on black crime. African Americans have denied the achievements of those African Americans in the cast by barring it from viewing so not to offend their ideals. They have taken away what legacy those individuals had which as humans is all we have after life.

I have seen Peter Pan with a life meter in one screenshot so I think he is playable.

disney chars in intro:
mickey, minnie, pluto, donald, goofy, daisy

disney chars that join your party (only sora is actually controllable):
donald, goofy, tarzan, aladdin, ariel, jack (from nightmare before christmas), peter pan, beast

disney worlds:
disneyland?, wonderland, athens colliseum, jungle, agrabah, monstro (whale from pinocchio), halloween town, atlantis, neverland, hallowed castle (from sleeping beauty?), pooh's storybook

summons:
simba, dumbo, bambi, genie, tinkerbell

this is pretty much what ive encountered so far. this is not a complete list, as i have not completed the game and have left out a lot of secondary characters associated with these worlds..
