Aerith's death was quite poignant, and she didn't get revived either.

A lot of FFTactics had sad moments too. The death of that girl by algus' hand....

hmm i actually found blanks "death" more emotional than aeris' maybe cuz blank was so close to the main character...

i didnt really get into fft's story all that much

plus, i think the fmv's really hammer in the point...

Blank was a side character. Non essential, Aerith was a pivotal part of the plot.

I might have agreed with you if they'd felt Blank petrified.

i thought it was really sad when you go back to the burning lucca's house in chrono cross.

SPOILER

you found out everyone died and you saved only kid, who asks if you were going to leave her too. Though you can pick your response (yes or no) you eventually disappear leaving a crying kid all alone. The music made the scene really powerful.

That should be in Chrono Cross, right?

I think the ending (If you use the element system) would be more touching.

Lord Kane: Left?

Edited: Vidhath, you beat me once again.

Mareg's death in Grandia 2.

...I stopped sobbing after I realized I can get all those hard-earned experience back.

I agree, it is sad when no one remembers...... Kid and Serge seperated....

*MGS2*
If this was all games tho, E.E's death is more than a little long wided, but didn't affect me like Aerith's

Don't put spoiler in the posts from now on, just title the game which it is a spoiler for.

Christemplar: I meant "I might have agreed with you if they'd left Blank petrified, rather than letting Marcus restore him."

We posted about the same time.

I also din't think it was as touching anyway, as petrification can normaly be solved, but death can't be. KO can, but not death.
