MGS2 EE bit

Is is actualy impossible to swim where you tell it to?
I've given it 4 attepts now, and each time I've been screwed by the fact that it doesn't actualy go where I tell it to.

I swear they designed this bit of the game just so that you hate it.

Yes, it does take a bit of getting used to. I beat the plant chapter on extreme difficulty and got all the dog tags about a week ago, so anything's possible.
Maybe you have the controls set backwards. You can invert the up/down controls in the options menu before starting a game by changing the "own view" setting. Or you can also change it when you access a node to get you radar working.

The swimming part sucked, and so did most other parts of MGS2

Finaly completed the damn game. Felt a bit... incomplete.
Felt far too short, and the ending was trying to be far too cryptic.

Lord Kane, couldn't agree with you more about the ending. I was extremely let down by it as well.

About the water part though, it took me two tries. I got hung up the first time, and I couldn't get free. I had to wait until the water killed me.

I hated the ending in MGS2, the EE bit was annoying because I couldnt find the way out.

BTW, what exacty does cryptic mean?

After finally seeing after the credits, I think that bit was a nice touch.

It was, but not enough to save the ending.

Even after that, I still hated the ending. What would be good is if the patroits were not as powerful as they said, maybe only as powerful as the secreaty of defence in MGS. I dont like the idea that some people were in controll of everything that has happened in the series. If they only had the level of power as that guy in MGS, I would like it because it would mean that they dont have unlimited power, and can be stopped and stuff...I dought you guys really understand me, I'm told I'm confusing.

I think MGS3 will deal with that issue, probs with snake and Raiden going after the Patriots (I hope Raiden doesn't make an appearence, but....)

I hope that Raiden remains busy with his family and doesn't put his ass in the Metal Gear business. Snake should be the hero.

MGS3 can be the greatest MGS.
