It's the main problem with EVERYTHING nowadays... people who care for the profit they can get instead of the good they could do to society, or humanity, or whatever. Anyway, before I get phylosophical, I voted for Squaresoft, because I've found very few Square games that disappointed me (i.e. SaGa Frontier 1, Bahamut Lagoon, and some other).

i still dont get why so many people hate microsoft so much, so theyre a big company that has lots of money... you can say the very same thing about sony, microsoft probably inadvertantly destroyed a lot of businesses, same with sony though, microsoft made its money by successfully advertising its products and making them sell, same with sony... but everyone hates ms and adores sony... now, if a company is going to make a good game i dont care how they make it as long as they live up to the expectations... if a company is going to be bought out by another company complain to the guys that are being bought out, dont complain at the buyers

Microsoft made its money by establishing a monopoly on PC OS systems, then ripping off Apple. Get your stories straight Strider.

Kingstar, there is a certain amount of truth to yor statements, I won't deny that. Remember what happened to Ken Lobb? (Traitor to NOA). I am just saying that many of the famous faces in this industry will never move, no matter how much money is offered.

Ninja, its true that m$ ripped off apple and made windowz. But that is a good thing to consumers like us, without m$, most people would use Mac and it cost more.

Boy, am I glad that MS upgraded DOS to the point that I could run a nice looking GUI, and restart my PC every few hours to fix the memory leaks.

Not to mention the hundreds of dollars it is supposed to cost to make further upgrades to your OS to fix the problems that should have never existed in the first place. Thank god MS is around.

LOL. You should be thankfull that at least there games don't have the BSD (blue screen of death). Is there any case with XXXBOX freezing due to OS?

so they improved the gui of apple and made it more user friendly, they improved on it... guess what, if nobody improved automobiles you would be driving a steam powered car right now at 10 km an hour... if you dont like windows dont use it, but dont complain to me

are you telling me you only use Linux and MAC? if so, how can you play most games since its windowz based? otherwise u need wine to emulate windows in order to play windowz based games.

about the blue screen of death problem, just use xp, i was using xp but my pc is slow so i reinstall using 98SE.

so i pressed the 3 magic keys(ctrl+alt+del), then the blue screen of death came on

, after that i had to press the one and only button on my computer(power switch), but now its ok. and yes, that did happen ironically.

mmm,...the results speak for themselves. its seams people like squaresoft the most. As for Strider, I dont hate microsoft itself, i hate the way it use to reach its goal, crushing all rivals at once.
As for Ninja,...... If microsoft have a BIG OS rival,...winxp would sure be ALOT better than what its like today!
