I didn't like it so much. It basically comes down to a huge treasure hunt. It's a good game and all... (about an 8/10 from what I saw (50%)) but it just lacks the qualities to make it a really killer title. I was dissapointed. |

StarFox was a pretty good game but it quickly loses it's charm... The graphics are amazing to say the least (mmmm fuzzyness) but did anyone else find tricky getting annoying? Or the fact that you could fly into every asteriod when your an arwing, never shooting any enemy, and STILL beat the level easily? Rare put a lot into graphics which could have been spent on something more useful... good gameplay. Overall I would rate the game 7/10 but that's just me... As for my favorite manufacturer? I'd say Capcom... they have a wide variety of games (from fighting games to RPGs). Square does too... but square's big thing is mostly RPGs... and although I am an avid RPG player... man cannot live on RPGs alone.

Breath of Fire 3 was when the BoF series really started to shine... I hope 5 (don't think it's out yet) will be as good as 3 and 4.

Ninja if you can get ahold of a BoF3 or 4 I highly recommend it... BoF2 had a good story but the constant back and forth is what turned me off (too many random battles in too many places I'd already been to)

I tried playing BoF3 once, but the CD didn't work at all. I got to the end of the intro scene, and it froze solid. Since it was the only video store I know that had it, I simply can't find it. I am still looking for it though.

I never liked the BOF series... too many random fights in general and too much wandering around the map. If they want to put lots of hours of gameplay into a game, make the plot long and complex with lots of dungeons instead of just cramming in tons of enemies and constant fetching and back and forth action.

yes, it was sort of innovatice idea,...but i think Star Fox was based on the popular 1980's show, Star trek ( Even Star Fox ships looks like it)
