what console you will be buying this christmas or whenever, and which one do yah think will be lost like sagar saturn or n64, alot of people will argue the n64 wasn't lost but it was to an exstent, so please vote or give your say here

I have a PS2, and as yet no plans to purchase another console.
I think the X-box will lay dead in the water despite it being the most powerful of the 3.

Yeah, and PS2 prices are decreasing constantly, it now costs around 240 euros (in spain at least) from the almost 500 it cost when released...

GameCube still has the lead in prices by $75, so that's a pretty big bonus. It also has the most exclusive franchises, making it a system that even the most harcore fanboy will eventually want. It is pretty well rounded in terms of the type of games available, and is quite easy to develop for, making it a good system for developers to make games for.

In the end, I am sure that GameCube will be doing quite well, PS2 will be doing well also, if not quite as good, and the Xbox will appeal to its own little niche that will grow smaller and smaller as PC games become too advanced for Xbox ports. (Creating a need for Xbox2)

I think PS2 will win the console war, but nintendo will be alive fully because it's gamecube is doing just fine (and unlike sony, the best sellers on the system are made by nintendo itself). Thus I think both will stay in the race (I didn't make a vote). Xbox... well... haha microsoft has money to burn is all i'll say.

Reasons? here:
PS2: Isnt it obvious? They have a major company (Sony) producing
them. Also, huge amount of gamesof various genres
Gamecube: its made by nintendo, and i just can't see nintendo
getting out of the industry, and im sure many
consumers will agree and therefore buy one
Xbox:Like the PS2, also have a major company producing them
and, like someone else said, they have lotsa money to burn

It's bad business practice to keep a product going that is unprofitable. (Xbox)

As for the PS2, I think it's unimportant who makes the console, what is important is that the system has a lot of exclusive games for it, and a MASSIVE userbase. That's why the PS2 will be around right to the end.

I voted for PS2. It was the first, has the largest games base (PS1 and PS2 games), and plays DVDs as well. Second will be Game Cube. Game Cube popularity is picking up speed, is made by a well known and respected Video Game/Video Console company (this applies to PS2 as well), and, when paired w/the GBA (which is doing well in it's own right) will, I believe, offer some awesome game play. X-Box is all right, but, to me, it is simply a PC wannabe that is already being outstripped by all the PCs around it.

Im gonna vote PS2 because it has various and different types of games but i will probably be getting an GCN 2 cause of the FF and ToP games that are coming to it but i wish they had a bigger joypad cause the one's right now hurts in my hand when i hold them.
If im lucky i might win a Xbox but i don't think im gonna buy one, actually im confident im not gonna buy one

i'm gonna get myself a gamecube but i'm pretty sure that the ps2 will do the race... they simply got the best reputation.... they can also jus tbring out sequels on it and people's gonna buy it... i mean the xbox isn't very liked because of its pad because of billyboy... the gamecube sure has a good reputation but people still think that nintendo can only make games for children and not for adults... wich is in my eyes completely wrong... but ok...
