Very true. Here in California, if you know where to look, you can find all sorts of games at "bargin basement" prices. I would say that it is definately a good time to be a gamer.
sincererly,

I remember back in the NES and SNES days, here in NY the good new games went for 60 or 70 bucks... even used ones (if you could find used games dealers) went for like 30 or 40... now new games are rarely over 40 or 50, and you can find used games everywhere for as cheap as a few bucks... it is great indeed

That sounds believable to me... I know SMB 3 for NES was $75 for a long time... I remember buying FFVI and CT for about $75 as well when they came out... so i think TOoT could have been 80 at some point

What's this story about fallen prices for games? That's maybe true in america, but not in Europ, I tell you.. And I donnot even talk about imported English games... these prices are not normal...

agreed, in europe it only gets more expensive. PC games are often 50 euro's nowadays, which is about $50, and with that they're the cheapest, console games are 60 euro or higher.

As for used games, yes, PSX is cheaper now, what's left that is.

Hey, i got a few games in Europe, they do drop, granted it takes them longer to do so. I bought severance in europe for 30euros. This was after a few months, its price was 50euros before.
