Question Kingdom Hearts - - - - GC?

I know this sounds strange, but i have a stubborn friend. I want to get KH for ps2, yet my friends says wait for the gamecube version. THe GC one, the hell he talking about? Now put some light onto this........is kingdom hearts scheduled for release on gc, or is my friend stupid? I'm leaning towards stupid......

Fist of all this should be in the Game discussion forum, Secondly, you are the first person to actually use the word "Kingdom hearts" with GC.

Syed Fawad is right, I will move this thread. And I don't think there's a NGC port of Kingdom Hearts.

Thank you, thatll teach my stubborn buddy. Damn kid thinks he always right. I thought that KH was exclusive to ps2 anyway, and only FF games will make it to GC

Not FF games. Only FF crystal chronicle. Rest of the FFs will be decided after this game's success.

Sadly we won't be seeing Kingdom Hearts on GameCube, but I'm sure that we will be seeing a lot of GameCube games from Square in the coming years. Game Developers Studio seems to be a Nintendo 2nd party in practice, if not name.

There isnt' one. It's just more BS. It's a Nintendo 2nd party game, made with first party trademarks. Chances of seeing a PC port are about -100%

dont you mean 0%? 100% states thats it likely, anyway...doubt nintendo would reach over to the PC market, even though they could profit from it.

You missed the little '-' sign before the percentage. That implies that the chances are less than 0.

What exactly is a Metroid prime? If it something like MGS or Halo then don't state anything.

BTW Dark Zero, its a good thing to start saving for a GC now. If you save a dollar a day, you can buy GC in about 5 months

Me too, I am set to get a GC coming May, not for Metroid though; for RE

I think they ruined Metroid by making it an FPS. It was one of the best games on the SNES as a platform game

Lord Kane, everyone who played Metroid Prime said the dev team managed to keep the Metroid feeling, so, don't judge it too quickly

Lord Kane, it's not an FPS. The only similarity to an FPS that it has, is that it is done in mostly a 1st person view.

For example, you cannot strafe in the game, unless you use 'Z' targetting. Does that sound like an FPS, or an Adventure game to you? The true genre of the game is an FPA, since it is obviously an adventure game rather than an FPS. The level design and playability of the game are all done in a very adventure like way.

And yes, the game just reeks of a true Metroid experience.

But if you don't believe me, wait until it comes out, and try it yourself.

EDIT: Syed, Metroid is Nintendo's flagship "mature" franchise. It is very unlike any game, and is NOTHING like Halo or MGS. You would have to play Super Metroid, or one of the other Metroid games to really understand what the game is.

Ninja stated it perfectly. Its a FPA, not a FPS. Dont't compare it to Halo either, its not in teh game genre. All i can say is, it looks great from the movies i've seen. It reeks of metroid in it, so, yes i want it, even tho its not like snes. Now really, would u want a side-scroller o a new sys? I would, but thats just me. People want 3d, then they complain about games that were 2d being 3d, but yet they want the 3d. People make no sense!
