Your using a GF2, don't expect anything great.

Raiden01, can you remember who in the user area had it working? If it was me, then it was due to the use of the Omega Detonator Drivers which I am using. If it wasn't me, then if you could remember, you could ask them.

Okay, I just misunderstood is all. No need to get upset. As for Anisotropic filtering, what are you trying to use it in? I don't recognize the pictures you posted, sorry. Perhaps what you need to dio is to uistall and the reinstall both your video drivers and Riva Tuner. Then set your settings in Riva Tuner only, do not set them in the video card properties, since Riva Tuner overrides the other settings. See if that helps any. Also, remember that if you are looking for Anisotropic Filtering in PSX emulation, forget it. From what has been said, the PSX does not do Anisotropic filtering, so the the emu won't either.
sincerely,

A question: Are those "Omega Detonator Drivers" better than the "native" Detonators? And if yes, where can I get them???

Omega's are slower but gain image quality.

Lord Kane is right about the image quality, it is better, much better. As for the speed, I have no problems ith the speed at all, but then i do not benchmark, I judge speed by how well my games and emus perform. They still perform excellently w/the Omega drivers. As well as they did w/the orignal detonators. The drivers can be found at www.omegacorner.com The best way to decide is to try them for yourself and then see what you think.

Better image quality with a loss of performace... on a 750 MHz system? I'll try it.

*looks at the screenshot*

Hmm.....for some reason, I have half a mind to say that it may be some sort of auto-mip-mapping feature run amuck that's causing it, but I'm not sure if mip-mapping does any sort of blurring.

I do know that mip-mapping does get involved on textures viewed from a distance, but that's the only thing that's making me think that that's the problem. I could be completely off-base on this.

Raiden01, clam down. Let's see if we can figure this out. You say you are using the Omega drivers, but to you, things look crappier than they did. Okay, did you follow Omegadrive's instructions as to how to install the drivers and what settings not to change? He says that certain settings, if you adjust them, will undo his work and make things worse. The other thing is, are you still using Riva Tuner w/the Omega drivers? If you are, then they are probably conflicting w/each other. I believe that Omegadriver tells you to not use Riva Tuner when using his version of the Drivers, since his versions does the same things that Riva Tuner is doing. Check these two things and see if that may be the cause of your problem.
Perhaps too, your card may not be as compatable with these drivers as higher end cards are. My card is a GF4 TI 4600. Maybe that is why the drivers work so well for me.
Lastly, here is a screen shot of my Neverwinter Nights Charcter taken w/the Omega drivers. I think it looks pretty good.
sincerely,
sx/amiga

The installation program always crashes after having decrunched the files  It always freezes when "Registering fonts". Are there any important operations after that? Do you know a solution?

The only solution I can think of would be to E-Mail Omegadrive driectly, his E-Mail address should be on his site, and explain your problem. Very like he'll be able to help you. I had no problems installing the Omega drivers at all.

Question

I find it very hard to under stand the way you put things Raiden01, but I'll try. No one said that you have to use the Omega drivers. If Riva Tuner works and you are happy with it (as I was before the Omega Drivers) then why change? I merely suggested the Omega drivers because I though that they might help with your problem. Omegadrive said that he did some tweaks to the Anio Filtering. So I thought that this might benefit you. As for the Nvida 40.41 or maybe the 40.40 drivers, do you have Win 2000 or XP? If not, then they will not help you since those are the only OS's they are out for. If you do have Win 2000 or XP, then give them a try if you want, perhaps they will work for you w/the Anisotropic Filtering. Best of luck. BTW, the Anisotropic Filtering on Dugeon Siege looks great w/the Omega Divers as does the entire game.
sincerely,
sx/amiga
