Yep deffinetly make sure you patch to ver1.1 and copy all the audio from the play cd to your hdd. This way the game wont lock up when the cdrom is trying to access some sounds. I run at 1024 x 768 x 32bit. This gives me slowdown wot so ever. I'm guessing with your card you would be able to get 1024x768 but i dont know if your cpu will bottleneck your system. 800x600x32 should run fine for you.

Runs at a smooth 20fps on my p2400 320mb geforce2mx.

People complain about lagging(occassional pauses) with their highend systems, but the problem is they don't have enough ram. 128 is just the bare minimum. I have 320 sdram133 and haven't experience a single lag ever. In this game, ram does make a difference; just make sure you have enough.

my game runs smoothly on my specs, but it also runs a little slow, especially in crowded city scenes, but its playable, and not at all jerky or anything.

edit: i expect that when i upgrade my vid card it will run perfectly.

Runs fine for me on a celeron 600 w/ GeForce3 Ti200. There must simply be something wrong with your settings. Try throttling things back a little.

20fps is not smooth!
I get around 40fps @1280x1024x32 /w max draw distance on my system

how do you know what your framerate is? I have to guess. (I am guessing 60fps though on my present system, about 30 on my old one)

I just use FSAA. With my current system, I can run it at full speed pretty much regardless of what I do.

You need a NO-CD to be able to play the game with out the Play cd. They will give you instructions on how to copy the files over. I can't give you any links for odvious reasons, try doing a search on google.
