I want help with FFX blitz ball

hi guys Im stuck at ffx well nto exactly but i want to win in blitz ball te first match and I just cant seem to win. I have the english version and I tried using the codes for it by using the ones on codejunkies and still I cant seem to max my players abilities so they could kick ass. Anyone can help me out here somehow oh i use the arv2 to help me with the codes. Another thing I went about copying my original FFX DVD so I dont ruin it by playing it much so I just use the backup so I can see the original when Im dont playing it. I mean could it be the reason the codes are not working and if yes d u have the codes that might work thanks or a solution would do.

just forget about the first battle if its really your first time through!
if i remember correctly, the reward for winning is useless, i dont remember what exactly it was, but you dont need it.

I doubt winning at the first try. However, your chances would be better if you successfully complete the Jecht Shot on the ship to luca. When, in the match, Tidus gets the ball you can try it.

I don't think that is really some fun there.

Err, if u're talking about the international version then the only ones I found to be working r on Gamefaqs.com. Just go to FFX and at the bottom of faqs page u'll find the ones u want. Hope that helps

vidhath: "bumping" is not allowed and doesnt help
cooliscool: no flaming other members or you will be temp banned. consider this a warning.

as for beating the first game, it doesnt do anything for you except maybe make wakka a little happier..
The easiest way to do it is to turn off auto control and make sure you know the jecht shot. then go straight for the goal with tidus and knock out 2 blockers with your 1 shot. gameshark2 and action replay 2 codes should be the same and shouldnt matter if you are using a dvdr. try gameshark.com

I used manual controls. my teammates are plain stupid, they stay far off to the top or the bottom of the.... water sphere, while my opponents close up on me. They normally mess up the ball if I pass it to them.
Perhaps I dont have what it takes to win in Blitzball... oh well.

Well, good for u. I never really kept any of the members of the old team later on. The only guy I kept was the one in mid field 'cause he can really pass. BTW, I never used anything but manual in the whole game? Did any of u use automatic?? How is it?
