Civilization-type freeware?

Anyone knows where to download a good freeware game similar to Civilization? Yeah, I know some freewares are pure crap, but some are great (like Cyberdogs).

Hmm i've saw some clone game of civilization these days, i cannot remember where it wasn't in Veja (the magazine)... and i think it was made in portuguese, can't really remember
