model 2 emulator?

well i didnīt knew where iīd put this thread. so if its wrong move it please.

here are some shots of a suposedly sega model 2 emulator in the works.

the news are obviously from www.emulatronia.com and if this is true itīl be great .playing daytona, virtua fighter 2, virtua cop and all those great model 2 games on an emulator is a dream come true. so letīs cross our fingers here .

really? that's interesting... there's a lot of great games on model 2 hardware... but uh... haha aquiring the ... uh... software will be difficult.

BTW this should've been in misc console discussion i think..

Sega arcade hardware that sported 3d features, like the model 1 but more advanced. Actually, the virtuacop roms are dumped and are good.

Not sure about how practical, but R/Belmont made a model 2 SOUND/MUSIC emulator that supports it, as well as others.

well i guess it would be better if we talked about something else. or this thread will be closed.
how about what was your favorite model 2 game? mine was virtua fighter 2. i had a saturn and that was pratically the only game i played on it.
and i thought it was harder to emulate it. now thereīs already a sound emulator working. and this one appears too. guess when theyīre going to emulate model 3

virtua cop 1, definitely. i have a saturn and i play it when i get the chance, never can go long without some VC, and if i dont play 1 o n saturn, i play 2 on my pc or dc.

saturn had great games. when i think i never played nights i feel sad. i saw it only once and i fell in love with the music and all those collors. so nice...

nah, I got all those sega pc ports from saturn games that were model 2 ports
and yes, bought em but it would be cool if we got to play the real arcade versions on an emu.

Most of those Sega PC games were really crappy, though. I would hope the model 2 games would have better quality when emulated.
