I can't send but state the requirements here.

You must have:

800MHz processor
128 Mb RAM
32 Mb AGP card (more like a geforce2)

Thats the basics, to run it decently.

and it runs laggy... so have a good 3d card basically!

I heard that GF3 had some issues with GTA3 but patches were released to fix it. About the TNT2, well if you have an M64 then it won't do much good. The framerate is really crappy. About the processor, well if I guess correctly, you have a celeron; which may degrade performance.

On lower end systems, GTA3 gives sick fps, which cause headaches and really mess up with ur concentration. 1Ghz Processor is better, but gfx card is very important. I would rather say that GF2 GTS Minimum.

With my computer and all options at the lowest, I still crappy framerates. But with my brother's 1GHz with a GF2 GTS comp can run it very well at 800x600 resolution. And what is strange, my friend has a GF4 MX and it runs worse than my comp.

there are also programs that can speed up the game by removing some usless stuff like the floating paper and such. Try looking at GTA3Mods for the programs wich work ok for me.

i dunno about an 800mhz processor! that's complete estimation because a 600mhz processor (may it be celeron, pentium3, athlon, k6-2, III, +) can run it just fine because my lowly k6-2 500@600 runs it fine, just be sure to have at least a mid range geforce, such as gf4, gf4 mx or gf3. Just an estimation by me.

edit: forgot to add that using 3danalyer and the high fps patch that changes textures to 16bit, removes those newspapers on the ground and so on help one hell of a lot.

Yeah, that isnt too obvious... but whatever. Basically, all you need for GTA3 is a powerful 3d card.

Well i don't know about you but i have a GF3Ti200 (overclocked a lot

),Athlon 1.8XP and 256DDR and with all details on,full draw distance at 800x600x32bit it isn't as smoothy as i hoped it'd be and at some points it drops down to 40fps.Damn that GF3Ti200,i should have waited to get a GF3Ti200
