what happened to my dc joy pad.when i lift it up it starts working and when i sit down to play game it doesen't respond.whats the prob.???

sounds like the wires are in bad condition.

You should probably get a new one. I broke one of my controllers and had to get a new one.

the same happened with my joypad.you can repair it or buy a new one .try to buy a original
one

Yeah, orignal controllers are the best. I was playing NFL2K2 and i slammed my controller against the wall, leaving a dent in the wall and shattering the inside of the controller. I know, im very high strung.
