dc have hundreds of game,you should get a list of them all or simply ask: what is the best ones...

Fighting: Soul Calibur, Capcom vs. SNK 2, DOA 2 and Marvel vs. Capcom 2
RPG: Grandia 2, Skies of Arcadia
Adventure: Shenmue 1 and 2, Resident Evil Code Veronica
Racing: Metropolis Street Racer, Tokyo Extreme Racer
Shooters: Unreal Tournament, Quake 3
Sports: All Sega Sports games rock except the NHL games and the baseball games.... they're not up to par with the others.
Weird Games: Rez

Remember Dreamcast is quality over quantity. Lots of good games....

almost all of DC's sports game are rendered very good and I suggest you get some of it, well that depends on whta sport you like.

DC is the sequence of Saturn and that one got the best fighting games, so DC will be presented with better ones, MVsC 2, anyone know if the SNK fighting games like TKOF or LB will have sequences in DC?

PSO ver 1. is still free of charge, as for games the list is large... few but outstandings games : Shenmue 1 and 2, Resident Evil Code Veronica, Headhunter, Crazy Taxi 1 and 2, Soul Calibur, Marvel vs Capcom 2, PSO, Sonic adventure 1 and 2, Skies of Arcadia, Grandia II, Tech Romancer, Virtual On... well I should stop... But should you need information regarding ANY game for the DC just ask... Oh and BTW, the import games rocks even more (well actually shenmue II it's an import game... heh)

Sorry about that I actually meant Skies of Arcadia (1) (I'll change it a.s.a.p) but I don't agree on what you say about vf3. Okay it might not be as goo as doa2 or soul calibur but it's still a decent and fun game.
