i love this series. i have both suikoden titles and they both are great! the story in both of them is superb and the endless amounts of characters and mini-games/side quests keeps the game fresh and replay value up. i cant wait to play suikoden 3 for PS2.

i like the first two suikodens. Don't own a ps2 so i won't be playing the third one anytime soon.

yeah you should check them out. my fav is suikoden 2 so far. the best story and graphics of the two. maybe you will play it sometime shiva. heheh

I like suikoden 2 a LOT! But when I saw the review of suikoden 3 at gamespot, it seens a whole lot different and less fun compared to 1 and 2. And I like using different characters and levelling them up. Thta maybe the only RPG that have 100++ playable characters...

yeah the multible chars were great. actually the game is based on a chinesse legend of the 108 warriors of china or something. so thats pretty cool.

well suikoden one was impossible to find here. i had to buy it used. and it was just the CD. and suikoden two was easier to find...but it still took alot of searching.

Both Suikoden and Suikoden 2 can be considered as some of the best classic RPG. With great storyline and plot, you won't be disappointed. I like the fact that you have to gather 108 characters to assist the army. Just a reminder, for those who has been playing Suikoden and decided to play the sequel, don't delete your save files. Assuming you met the certain condition, you can meet McDohl in Suikoden 2.

I found S2, will I understand the story if I just played 2? I've just got a PS2 and if I like 2, I'll get 3

yes all the suikodens have there own story but with a common theme. you dont need to play 1 to understand 2 and i am pretty sure you dont have to play 2 to understand 3. heheh

well suikoden 3 is very different compare to suikoden 1 and 2.

Regarding McDohl, if you finish suikoden1 with all the stars, then load that saved game in S2 and McDohl is a playable and POWERFUL character combined your main character with their combo.

yes i just wish more people knew about this great game and backed it up with high sales. it might be another FF type thing. so far its been that good.
