Cel Graphics

What do you guys think of cel graphics? I wasn't interested at all in them before I saw Zelda for GCN. But I really was looking forward to a Zelda game with graphics like in the demo they first showed with Link fighting Ganondorf.

Oh well, at least that Link is in the GCN version of Soul Calibur 2...

I doubt that there is a cell shaded link in Soul Calibur. It would be a proper polygon model, like other chars.

That's what I meant. The Link from the original GCN demo is gonna be in Soul Calibur 2.

i dont know. i kinda like the cel graphics. although it seems a lot of games are using them now. but i refer the older zelda games, as far as graphics are concerned.

i think cel shading is nice, what got me into it was JGR, adn now i am really looking forward to playing zelda gcn, that game looks so awesome! i mean, i hope it's as good as zelda 3!

I never really liked cel graphics because of the cartoonish look. But I'll play Zelda no matter what it looks like.

Well, XIII looks like it is shaping up nicely. I wouldn't mind giving it a whirl. There's a new Tales game coming out that is cel shaded, and it looks pretty nice. And there are rumors that bits of Metroid Prime are cel shaded, and I think that's a great idea. (the shot I saw of it looks fantastic)

And let's not forget the queen mother of cel shading. Zelda. I can't begin to describe how much I love that game already. I am very pleased at the return to the series' roots.
