I did that too. Got bg2 then bg1. Quiet hard to play bg1 after you play bg2. Worse grpahic, path finding, and no kits.

I agree with what you say about NWN Xkalibur, but I still think DS is an awesome game in it's own right and is a worthy game to play. As for Morrowind, I have yet to have any problems at all w/that game.
sincerely,

to me, DS, Diablo2/Diablo1 and expansion, morrow wind , nwn
last is BG2,
BG2 is just suck to me *actually it's the worst game I played lately, quit the game after 10 hour playing, grahpic suck everything suck* , it take you like 1/2 to a hour to learn the tutorial, then you had to remember each character's special skill and how to use it. how boring, wasting time. it should had been slowly out, 1 skill learning at a time and these should be used as a small quest in the game,

Well, when u say that about a game that u can play for 400 hours and still not do all the quests it offers....it means it's just not your type of game. Fair and simple . BG2 is all about really being there. Judginf from ur list I can say u prefair clicking the mouse a thousend times (in other words, hacking) and leaving the game at any time withour regretting that u "just wanna do that little itsey bitsy quest" to know more about ur charecter. Strange, but then again it's what some people like. A good thing we all have something to enjoy, no?

like i said i made a mistake when i played bg2 then bg1 and yes i know no kits, no hi res,... BUT! since i didnt have a PC when bg was out and i bought it right about when bg2 came.
i dont mind now!

and to sniper...:eyes: what can i say. there is a difference between hack and slash games and pure rpg. now tell me.. since i see that you played diablo. could you tell me the plot? sure you can. a demon kills a few villagers, the others get mad, go to kill the demon, get slaughtered and the rest of the village waits.. so you come to save the day...and woW!!! 3 characters with same linear plot.:o there's a ton of monsters beneath the church so after you destroy 3 mouses you defeat the final boss...how? Warrior uses a xxx of the bear, the lady archer uses the same weapon, and mr sorcerer uses a few appocalypse spells.. NOW DONT GET ME WRONG. I REALLY LIKE DIABLO. but Baldurs Gate(1&2) is superior in many ways.no WAY i could write BG2 plot in a few sentences. you must be patient when trying to play a PURE RPG.

PEACE!

diablo 2 is a lot better than d1, on top of a better story the characters are way more diverse and fun to play as, plus the engine is a lot better

of course D2 is much better than D1. Better graphics and better character. Also the skill tree is a very good improvement.

I've only played Dungeon Seige and Diablo 2 out of those and I have to say I like Diablo 2 better. I am going to buy either Neverwinter Nights or Mirrorwind, which one do you guys recommend?

I'll buy Neverwinter Nights now because I want to enjoy playing online with my new ADSL connection. I'll buy Mirrorwind after I get my b-day money. I'm 17 until the beginning of next month.
