how can she make a dessision its not out yet oh wow u have played the beta version good for u. Thats what a beta version is for its to let people comment on the game and have them make it better before the release. So wait till you play the game

Warcraft III was just released today over here, noticed it as I was driving to Uni.

I expected quite a turnout, but since it's a weekday, there weren't much people waiting in line yet. Maybe it'll pick up later.

As for me, I don't like RTS games that much.

Instead of just saying, "Warcraft 3 sucks!", you should state the reason why you said that. At least, someone can use it as a guide for them whether to buy it or not. Send some short opinion and reviews about it, instead of just insulting it. Perhaps it can be some good advice for others.

I played the beta version to try but i dont know.. the game is *****... i think. The only difference i can see is the new units, the level system and the new graphics... Its all fancy but i got bored after 5 minutes... I didnt try the mp but trust me the sp sucsk!!! The units get annying when each time you make them move they have to say something and i think the voice is really annoying. And the level up system.. nuthin new from rpgs... you level up, you get a new skill or you upgrade it... blah blah blah... It gets boring fast...And sure you get to pick up equipements and items but its the same as diablo, you keep in inventory then you use it if you want to. And the graphics... i say that they are par... I like the graphics of command and conquer red alert 2 better... Sure the 3d effects are fancy but they not "impressive"and the 3d things in a rts just dont work well. Im really dissapointed, i hope starcraft will be better.

Usually the beta version is **** if you compare with the full vrs my friend, so why not to wait the full one (just released today) an try again

It was released here (in California) at 12:00 a.m this morning (Wednesday) at Fry's Electronics. They have been promoting it for some weeks now, but here does not seem to be a whole lot of interest. Also, when you call Gamestop.com (that is the name of the store), if it was expected to be a big seller, they would say "Hello, Gamestop.com, where you can reserve a copy of War Craft III. May I help you?" They haven't been saying that, so what does this say for the game, only time will tell.

Wow an opinion from sxamiga, i'm really pleasant to be in this thread, but just relating to that, well as i was looking at amazon, Warcraft III was in the 2nd place of most bought games in amazon, but in that time it wasn;t released YET, people just reserved its copies just to don't wait time in queue, that' sounds strange

I have to disagree. I've seen it on my friend's computer (he's a beta tester) and it looks pretty sweet at 1024x768x32 w/ 4xFSAA. It looks much better than the jagged graphics in RA2 anyways. And what do you mean you hope Starcraft will be better? It's been out for several years already. It plays similarly to Warcraft 2 and 3 as well.

Yes, it's finally July 3rd. My copy should be arriving very soon. I'll post some shots whenever I get the chance.

You could use the words " IMO " or " To me " , Reich. Because I know that to me and many others, Blizzard is a great company. I have been playing Blizzard games since Warcraft ( though only really started to like them after playing Wc2 ) , and I'd say that they're good at what they're doing.
