Heh..I guess we're all in for a fix, eah? Hmph, Pcgamer once said they'll put it on the discs. I used to be a loyal reader until that issue. They "apologised" for not doing that. Why? 'cause there wasn't "enough space".....!!! A little note from me, that issue's discs had more than 550MBs of Q3, UT and HL mods which is usually what they do every issue From that time, I started calling them FPSgamer Oh well, patience is a virtue but file planet is a big sin U know, I remember that site being good "once upon a time". The wait wasn't really that long. The b****es then put less free servers to force people to subscribe

Okay, I'm back way sooner than I thought. I'm having problems and I can't find out what to do or change to solve it. I'm having strange slowdowns everywhere I go. The game runs fine then it acts like it hanged with only the mouse moving normally and everything else frozen. It happens wither I'm moving in big buzzy spaces or talking to someone in the smallest room. And the later happens more often. I tried reducing my graphics quality to the very lowest but it's the same even if it's on the highest I think it's one of these "things": My hardrive, a 30GB Western Degital (disk access time screw up?), my good ol' loyal ATI Or my very old Creative Labs Vibra card. Ideas, gentlemen?

Another strange thing happened is that when I installed the game config insisted my ATI has 64MB instead of 32....!!! Anyway, I'll try defragging and see if it helps. Mind u, I did that last week

I was so glad with the results that I forgot to come back here and report Tried conneting online yesterday but got discourged by the people there. That must have been the foulest chat I ever entered Anyway, did anyone go through this game as a bard? How was it?

It's truly nice...I can even see great potincial for romances through the henchmen thing. Again, I must agree it's not BG2 but it's the closest thing. The story is really nice and the combat is never dull. I won't even go to the community site (for moduals and such) until I finish the single-player game. I'm starting chapter 2 now. Now, I play a human ranger. Next I'll play a wizard/rouge

that wiz/rouge will be a hard dual class, to me almost all dual classes are hard in nwn, the whole losing 20% of you exp if the two level are more than a level apart.

But doesn't using the favoured class help this. That's why it will be an Elven Wizard/rouge since the Elves favour the Wizard class. I thought the penalty applied only when using two unfavoured classes....

no, IIRC that means if you have a 2+ level difference you lose 40% because you are an elf, and rogue is nonfavoured so you lose 20% there then another 20% for the 2+ gap.

What's that option for humans in BG2 where u leave a whole class and go to another one. Then when u reach the previous class's level, u get ur old abilities back....wasn't it "dual class"?? While the other one was "multi-class" when u do two together, right? I'm talking about the first

Dual Class, that's right. I prefer that way. It allows you more powerful chars in my mind
I mage'd to about level 15, then Kensaid the rest

I don't know. I didn't like NWN, coz the Kensai is missing
That and it just simply wasn't as fun as BG2

Kensai/Thief in BG2... that could be the one of the most (if not the most) powerful dual class in the entire game.
