Help neede in Shenmue

OKay this game is old, but its awesome. Moreover its the FIRST RPG I've played (playing the DC version).

I need some help in finding a key to open the box in the Hazuki resdiency. (In the Gym type of area where Ryu's father died.)

Where can I get it? I don't want to ue the guides and FAQs of online sites as I'll read the entire stuff, which I don't want to. I am just stuck now.

it's not really an RPG, allthough it has elements from it...

anyways, do you already have one of the keys?
There's one you get from the store and I think the other lays around somewhere in the house, but I forgot where.

Thanks, thanks a lot. Now I am on the third disk doing a job of lifting crates. Great game man, really its a great game.

I had already found the drawer but I wasn't focusing the box right.

Did anybody notice that there was a Sega Saturn there in a room in Ryu's house?
Saturn in 86. Great

didnt know that. How can you win those? By getting a certain score in the arcade?

btw, I still think it's quite odd you have to move crates with a forklift in a game

(btw , I'm on disk 3 as well, I still have to finish the game but havent played it for a while)

no, you can win the games by buying the Shenmue stuff (like chocolate bars, potato chips and the music tapes) at the convenience stores, when you do that they make you choise a paper wich may contain a price or it may contain nothing.
BTW in the harbor's convenience store you can win the game soundtracks while in the Yokosuka's one you can win the games.

the best way to get the good prices it's by buying ten items, if in ten tries you didn't get a decent price then reset and start again (tedious I know but it's the only way)...

if you mean the temporary save then yes, you are right, otherwise the other save allows you to save anytime (however if the hour is past 9:30, I think, you won't be able to continue and the only option left it's to sleep)
